KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage project takeover and prepare project scope matrices.
• Review contracts, specifications, drawings, and customer requirements thoroughly.
• Prepare project Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and verify project scope requirements.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, and payment plans in line with contractual obligations.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, manpower requirements, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, and Logistics departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct project risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Plan manpower deployment and coordinate activities according to project priorities.
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with approved budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Identify project deviations and implement corrective actions when required.
• Prepare and maintain project document registers.
• Coordinate document handover to Engineering and other relevant departments.
• Maintain project folders and records in accordance with company and ISO procedures ensuring all project documentation is accurate, complete, and readily accessible.
• Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, progress updates, and close-out documentation.
• Coordinate and attend final inspections with Quality and customer representatives.
• Ensure timely completion and closure of all punch list and snag items.
• Manage project close-out activities, including final documentation and excess material returns to stores.
• Monitor material consumption and initiate re-ordering of raw materials to maintain uninterrupted production operations.
• Ensure compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Promote safe working practices throughout project execution.
• Always follow and enforce company safety rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS/ELIGIBILITY
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
• 2-3 years of experience in project engineering, project coordination, manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial projects.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Knowledge of contract administration and project documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning tools
• Familiarity with ISO documentation and quality management systems.
