Electrical Tender Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Tender Engineer to join our team and lead the preparation of competitive electrical bids across construction and MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Study and analyze tender documents, BOQ, and technical specifications for electrical works
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and pricing for electrical systems (LV, MV, ELV, lighting, power)
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations
• Review drawings and technical submittals to ensure scope alignment
• Prepare technical and commercial clarification letters during the tender stage
• Liaise with the planning and technical office teams for methodology and program inputs
• Maintain a database of unit rates, subcontractor rates, and material pricing
• Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering exercises

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5 years of experience in tendering/estimation within the construction or MEP contracting sector
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and Saudi market rates
• Proficiency in BOQ takeoff and estimation tools
• Excellent command of English; Arabic is a plus
