Project Manager — High‑Rise Building

Position summary

  • Lead planning, coordination, execution and handover of high‑rise residential/commercial building projects from preconstruction through final commissioning and closeout.
  • Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and regulatory requirements while managing stakeholders, consultants and contractors.

Key responsibilities

  • Project planning: develop project execution plan, baseline schedule, risk register, procurement strategy and cost estimates.
  • Schedule & cost control: create/update detailed schedules (critical path), monitor progress, produce forecasts, implement corrective actions to control schedule and budget.
  • Contract & procurement management: prepare/issue RFPs, evaluate bids, administer contracts (GCs, subcontracts, consultants), manage change orders and claims.
  • Construction management: oversee site operations, coordinate trades, ensure constructability, monitor productivity, enforce quality control and commissioning plans.
  • Design coordination: manage design team (architects, MEP, structural), review drawings/RFIs/submittals, resolve design issues and coordinate value engineering.
  • Risk, compliance & safety: implement risk mitigation, ensure compliance with local building codes/permitting, enforce site safety programs and QA/QC procedures.
  • Stakeholder & client management: provide regular progress reports, manage expectations, coordinate with owners, lenders, authorities having jurisdiction and community stakeholders.
  • Team leadership: lead project team (engineers, site managers, planners), mentor staff, conduct performance reviews and resource planning.
  • Documentation & closeout: maintain project documentation, prepare as-built drawings, handover packages, warranties and final accounts.

Required experience & education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 14+ years progressive construction/project management experience with minimum 7–9 years on high‑rise projects (20+ stories).
  • Proven experience managing large budgets, multi‑disciplinary teams, and complex MEP/structural coordination.

Technical skills & certifications

  • Strong knowledge of high‑rise construction methods, sequencing, slipform/timbering/CLT/steel/RC systems as applicable.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), BIM coordination (Revit/Navisworks) and cost control software.
  • Certifications preferred: PMP, CCM, CFM, NEBOSH/OSHA 30, LEED AP or local equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of local building codes, fire & life safety systems, façade engineering and temporary works.

  • Ability to work under pressure, make data‑driven decisions and enforce site discipline.

Pay: AED14,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
