Early Clinical Strategy Lead – Pulmonary/Nephrology

Summary

Exciting opportunity with a global biotech organisation seeking a senior clinical development leader to shape early strategy across Pulmonary / Nephrology.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive early-phase clinical development (Phase I–III), define study design and endpoints, and work closely with global teams and regulators to bring innovative therapies forward.

**Nephrology, Pulmonary**

Responsibilities:

• Lead early development strategy for pulmonary / nephrology indications
• Define and drive endpoint strategy and study design across early-phase programs
• Partner cross-functionally to translate science into execution-ready clinical plans
• Engage with global regulatory authorities to support development and approval pathways
• Align stakeholders across regions to ensure consistent and efficient program execution
• Act as a clinical expert within a matrix environment, influencing key decisions

Requirements:

• MD / Physician with specialisation in Pulmonary / Nephrology Medicine
• ~10+ years of experience in clinical development within pharma/biotech
• Strong background in early-phase strategy and endpoint design (up to Phase III)
• Proven experience in global regulatory interactions and submissions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional matrix organisation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
