Placement within the salary range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity considerations. Responsibilities
- Ownership of the Product Lifecycle Management of the assigned Spatial Biology product sub-portfolio to ensure functional monitoring, identify unique attractiveness to the market, evaluate & ensure business benefit and establish & maintain operational sustainability
- Understanding & analysis of the user needs and transformation of these into actions and portfolio improvements
- Monitoring & analysis of competitor activities and market trends to propose actions utilizing the full commercial toolset in collaboration with Sales and Marketing
- Build KOL connections and represent the company and products at conferences, interest groups, exhibitions and other marketing events
- Be an expert and go-to person for the responsible portfolio including presentations to customers and training of Sales and Customer Support
- Devise strategies to improve the portfolio, business benefit and product positioning based on market, user and competitor analysis
- Coordinate with R&D and V&V teams on development and validation activities, specifically, aligning on technical requirements, reviewing designs, risks and mitigations, maintaining product documentation, and perform user testing.
- Prepare commercial launches and releases and ensure clear value proposition, USPs and positioning in collaboration with Marketing
- Represent and advocate for the needs of the responsible portfolio within the development teams, with leadership and all stakeholders within the organization
Required Qualifications
- MSc. Or PhD in biology, life sciences, bioengineering, or similar field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a product manager with global responsibilities
- Experience as product manager for imaging instrumentation and/or antibodies
- Solid understanding of Proteomics (automated preferred) immunofluorescence technology and multiplex experimental design including related use cases
- Good understanding of laboratory techniques such as immunohistochemistry, microscopy and image analysis.
- Proven experience in VOC gathering, validation and analysis
- Proven experience of working and collaborating in cross-functional teams in a matrix organization
- Proven user experience understanding and respective approaches to support maximum ease and safety in the use of products
- Experience in a regulated or clinical environment is a plus
- Experience in at least one of the following scientific fields: immune-oncology, immunology, neurobiology, infectious disease, cell therapy
- Experience with or understanding of project management good practice principles
- Proficiency in English (at least C1)
- Advanced skills in MS Applications, i.e. Excel (array formulas, pivot tables…) and PowerPoint
