We are seeking an experienced and strategic Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in IFRS, excellent leadership capabilities, and proven experience managing accounting functions across multiple industries. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and can adapt to various business models.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, payroll accounting, and reconciliations

-Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency

-Prepare and review timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS

-Ensure adherence to internal policies and compliance with all relevant regulations

-Lead external audit processes, coordinating documentation and responses

-Develop and implement strong internal controls, workflows, and accounting policies

-Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members

-Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial results and drive operational improvements

-Leverage multi-industry experience to inform accounting strategies and best practices

-Recommend and implement process improvements and system enhancements

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred)

12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in management or supervisory capacity

-Demonstrated success working across multiple industries 

-Deep understanding of financial reporting standards

-Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP B1, or similar ERP platforms

-Advanced Excel skills and analytical thinking

-Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
