Quality Assurance Engineer Intern

About Paathz Paathz is an AI-native hospitality workforce platform connecting pre-vetted professionals with hotels and restaurants across Southeast Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. We believe hospitality has a visibility problem, not a labour shortage. Our mission is to become the definitive cross-border talent corridor for the global hospitality industry.

We are Singapore-incorporated (Paathz Pte. Ltd.), approaching a May 2026 beta launch, and backed by a founding team with deep domain expertise in hospitality, technology, and international markets.

What You’ll Do

• Build and scale automation frameworks from scratch or near-zero
• Design high-impact test strategies for fast-moving product releases
• Own end-to-end testing (UI, API, integration, performance)
• Break features before users do—and ensure they never break again
• Work directly with engineers to debug, fix, and ship faster
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Continuously push for higher test coverage, faster execution, and better reliability

What We’re Looking For

• You don’t wait for instructions—you figure things out
• Basic to solid coding ability in Python / JavaScript / Java
• Hands-on or strong interest in automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Understanding of APIs, system design basics, and debugging
• You think in edge cases, failure scenarios, and scale
• High ownership mindset + bias for action

Bonus Points If You

• Have built or experimented with your own automation frameworks
• Understand CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Are curious about AI-driven testing / intelligent QA systems
• Have contributed to projects, GitHub, or shipped something real
