Datacenter Manager

We are seeking a Datacenter Manager to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the bank’s datacenter infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical knowledge of datacenter technologies and the ability to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of the datacenter environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Datacenter Operations and Maintenance:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the datacenter, including server, storage, and network infrastructure.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of all datacenter systems and services.

Infrastructure Planning and Implementation:

• Plan, design, and implement datacenter infrastructure upgrades and expansions to support business growth and operational needs.
• Ensure the scalability and stability of the datacenter to accommodate evolving requirements.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• Plan, design, and implement disaster recovery procedures for the datacenter infrastructure.
• Ensure the backup and recovery of critical datacenter components and services.

Security and Compliance:

• Enforce datacenter security policies and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations (e.g., SAMA, AML/CTF).
• Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

• Monitor datacenter performance and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal system performance.
• Analyze system logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor a team of datacenter engineers and administrators.
• Work closely with IT operations, security teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless datacenter operations.

Job Requirements:

Nationality:

• Saudi

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• Advanced certifications in datacenter technologies (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in datacenter management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale datacenter environments in a financial institution.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong technical knowledge of datacenter infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network components.
• Experience with datacenter performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud-based datacenter solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of datacenter security, access control, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
