Network / Infrastructure Administrator

For our Government client , we are looking for a Network / Infrastructure Administrator .

Assignment Description

As a Network/Infrastructure Administrator, you will join one of the Agile teams within the Network and Datacenter domain, specifically the Application Security & Delivery team. This is a dynamic team with an informal working atmosphere and plenty of room for personal input and initiative.

In this self-organizing team, working with state-of-the-art technologies, you and your colleagues will have primary responsibility for services such as application delivery (ADCs) and proxy services. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational continuity and stability of the network infrastructure.

You will be responsible for configuring and maintaining the F5 and McAfee Web Gateway platforms in accordance with Government policies and established procedures. In addition, you will participate in the on-call duty rotation.

Your primary focus will be on operational activities, communicating with users regarding network-related issues, resolving those issues, and reporting on them. You will also monitor network systems and analyze network usage to improve performance and prevent disruptions. Furthermore, you will share newly acquired knowledge with colleagues and ensure that your own expertise remains up to date within your field.

Background of the Assignment

We manage and enhance systems and applications that support, among other things, subsidy programs, certification processes, and the donor registry. Our team combines professionalism with an informal culture and offers significant room for personal contribution. We work in a hybrid setup (home and office) according to Agile principles. Every six weeks, the team meets on-site for the sprint transition.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience configuring VIPs and creating Nodes on F5 BIG-IP (LTM) .
• Minimum 4 years of knowledge and experience with routing (OSI layers 3 through 7) and network protocols.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with F5 ASM (Application Security Manager) and APM (Access Policy Manager) security requirements.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call support rotation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Up-to-date knowledge of designing and managing networks in large-scale infrastructures ( more than 500 VIPs and multiple data centers ).
• Possession of an F5 LTM 101/201 certification .
