Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, testing, commissioning, and supervision of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems for commercial, industrial, and fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage works at site.
- Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Coordinate testing, flushing, balancing, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and local authority requirements.
- Assist in material take-offs, procurement coordination, and project planning.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues to maintain project schedules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 4 years of site experience in HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Drainage systems.
- Strong knowledge of MEP installation and commissioning procedures.
- Experience with commercial, retail, hospitality, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Saudi Arabia experience is an advantage.
- Valid driving license preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC), SASO standards, Civil Defense requirements, and international codes such as NFPA, ASHRAE, and IPC.
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and project handover processes.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities and deliver projects within deadlines.
