Corporate Real Estate & Services (CRES) aims to be one of the key enablers to support business particularly for Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) to become the leading Cross-Border Affluent Bank and Wealth Manager, through strengthening our Affluent continuum, unlock network value via International Banking, accelerate Private Banking growth.

CRES will invest to expand our capabilities in streamlining and enhancing the execution of the branch network plan and, and strengthen our support functions in line with our growth aspirations.

This role will sit within CRES Branch Team, supporting Head, Portfolio Strategy & Planning, Branch in partnership with key business stakeholders, as well as our cross functional teams in CRES including Asset Management, Portfolio Strategy, Project, Experience, Design, PMO, Portfolio Planning, Data & Insights, Finance, Facility Management and Proptech team. The role is a key connector and be responsible for driving an ‘End-to-End’ branch strategy delivery across CRES and working closely with WRB. The role shall also focus on innovation, enablement, and enhancing delivery experiences whilst ensuring we are able to scale up and down in an efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

Responsible for the development and accountable for the execution of the Branch Corporate Plan including the delivery of the CRES scorecard objectives and outcomes aligned to strategic goals for WRB by transforming branch portfolio as well as elevating our brand pivot to affluent and cross border.

Responsible for effectively delivering the vision and strategy of branch transformation to ensure it is well understood by the Supply Partner Teams who help delivery everyday for our colleagues and clients as well as aligning priorities across a matrix organisation in country, region and group level.

End-to-end orchestration over the delivery of our branch portfolio strategy, in deep partnership with cross functional teams in CRES and WRB; focusing on Speed to Value, enabling the Group to realise value from the Portfolio strategy sooner, with data-led and strong execution discipline.

Business

Optimise and upgrade the Bank’s branch portfolio to deliver best-in-class physical space and client experience, keeping focused on cost to support targeted re-investment, and to continue to grow the priority business areas

Partner with supply partner teams by facilitating cross-functional collaboration within CRES and aligning stakeholders, breaking siloes, de-conflicting and driving decisions at country, region and group level to ensure the branch strategy delivery continue to anticipate and adapt to evolving client needs efficiently and effectively.

Support portfolio planning that is forward looking and aligned to WRB goal as well as support the development of corporate plan.

Lead transformation delivery initiative within the portfolio, ensuring that the strategy delivery remains responsive to internal and external change (organisation restructuring, business model shifts / technology advancements, etc)
