Summary

Exciting opportunity with a global biotech organisation seeking a senior clinical leader to drive medical strategy within Nephrology on a global scale.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead clinical development strategy across the full lifecycle—from early studies through post-approval—while working closely with global stakeholders and regulators to shape innovative therapies.

**Nephrology / Neurology / Rheumatology**

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute global medical and clinical development strategy for nephrology programs
  • Drive study design and endpoint strategy across Phase I–III and post-marketing activities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned, impactful development plans
  • Engage with global regulatory authorities to support successful submissions and approvals
  • Provide strategic input across multiple programs, influencing key decisions and direction
  • Collaborate across regions to ensure consistency in scientific messaging and execution

Requirements:

  • MD / Physician with specialisation in Nephrology / Neurology / Rheumatology (PhD a plus)
  • ~10+ years of experience in clinical development within pharma/biotech
  • Strong experience in global regulatory interactions and approvals
  • Proven track record in study design, endpoint strategy, and lifecycle development
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global matrix environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced setting
