Business Intelligence Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a BI Developer (6-Month Contract) to join the Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) team. This role will play a key part in migrating business intelligence assets following a data platform transition from Netezza to Snowflake.

You will be responsible for rebuilding and optimizing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to ensure continuity, accuracy, and performance in the new cloud environment. You’ll work closely with Data Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, and Digital Analytics teams to support data-driven decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Migrate existing dashboards, reports, and visualizations from legacy Netezza-based BI tools to Snowflake environments
• Reconfigure and optimize data sources, queries, and extracts to align with Snowflake architecture
• Redesign and enhance reports and dashboards to improve performance, load times, and user experience
• Validate migrated dashboards to ensure data accuracy, calculation consistency, and visual integrity
• Develop migration documentation and updated data dictionaries for BI assets
• Conduct knowledge-transfer and training sessions for business users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize critical reports and minimize business disruption

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence development or a similar role
• Strong expertise in dashboard design, data visualization principles, and reporting best practices
• Proven experience in BI migration projects, especially from on-premise to cloud platforms
• Advanced SQL skills for complex queries, optimization, and data validation
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Expert proficiency in Tableau (Desktop, Server, Prep)
• Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop, Service, Dataflows, DAX, Power Query)
• Solid understanding of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema, dimensional modeling)
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis or automation
• Familiarity with data governance, security, row-level access, and version control (Git)
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
