Role Description The Experienced Accountant – Financial & Accounting Services is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining accurate general ledger records, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closings. The accountant will handle daily accounting activities such as journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and expense tracking. The role includes preparing financial reports for internal and client stakeholders, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The accountant will also work with accounting software to streamline processes, analyze financial data, and provide insights that support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making, while collaborating with team members to improve financial workflows and controls.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Accounting, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting principles in a professional services environment.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Accounting Software and related digital tools to manage ledgers, transactions, and reporting efficiently.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide practical recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) is an advantage.
• Experience in a public accounting firm or financial services environment, with responsibility for end-to-end accounting cycles.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines on-site.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting; familiarity with local accounting and tax regulations in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
