Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jeddah. The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, preparing journal entries, and maintaining the general ledger. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards. The role also involves managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The Accountant will collaborate with internal departments, assist with audits, and provide accurate financial data to support decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and propose practical solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
  • Previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within a holding company or diversified group, is preferred.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical financial practices.
