Aurora's Grid is an innovative company specializing in advanced energy management solutions. Through our E.M.M.A. (Energy Management and Market Automation) platform, we help energy companies, utilities, and asset operators optimize and digitalize their energy infrastructure.
Position Overview
To support our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and talented EMS Software Engineer to join our team.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of E.M.M.A., our Energy Management System, working on cutting-edge projects in the fields of renewable energy, battery storage, and smart grids.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications related to Energy Management Systems (EMS).
- Participate in the design and implementation of new platform features.
- Analyze technical and functional requirements from customers and internal stakeholders.
- Integrate energy assets such as battery energy storage systems (BESS), photovoltaic plants, EV charging infrastructure, and other distributed energy resources.
- Support testing, commissioning, and deployment activities.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software development .
- Strong understanding of modern software architectures and development practices.
- Interest in energy management, smart grids, renewable energy, and digital energy solutions.
- Excellent command of English , both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of projects.
