Job Title: Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O)

Location: Shanghai, China (Onsite)

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Role Purpose

Support implementation, configuration, and rollout of D365 Finance & Operations across APAC, with a primary focus on China. The role involves working closely with business, IT, and system integrators to deliver scalable, compliant ERP solutions aligned with organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional design and configuration for D365 F&O modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting)
  • Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications aligned with global templates
  • Ensure China localization (tax, invoicing, compliance) is incorporated
  • Support full implementation lifecycle: design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, data migration, and reporting
  • Participate in SIT, UAT, and defect resolution
  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement
  • Provide functional support during and post-implementation
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and change management standards
  • Prepare documentation (FDDs, process flows, training materials)
  • Support cutover planning, data validation, and go-live activities

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6–10+ years of ERP implementation experience (D365 F&O focus)
  • Hands-on expertise in Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Tax)
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and controls
  • Experience with D365 implementations in China (localization/regulations)
  • Exposure to APAC or multi-country rollouts
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid methodologies
  • Knowledge of integrations, data migration, and reporting within D365
  • Familiarity with Azure / Power Platform (preferred)
  • Certification: D365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (preferred)

Language Requirement

  • Native-level Mandarin (mandatory)
  • Strong English communication skills
