About the Role

• We are looking for an experienced Automotive Loans Manager to lead our hire purchase and financing operations. You will oversee the full loan process, from credit assessment and approvals to portfolio management and team leadership, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in automotive financing, consumer lending, credit assessment, or hire purchase operations who are looking to step into a managerial position.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end loan process, including application review, approvals, documentation, and disbursement.
• Conduct credit assessments and evaluate financing applications.
• Ensure compliance with MAS regulations and the Singapore Hire-Purchase Act.
• Monitor loan portfolio performance and repayment trends.
• Work closely with collections and finance teams to minimise credit risks.
• Lead, mentor, and support a team of loan officers and credit executives.
• Improve operational processes and maintain high service standards.
• Prepare reports and work with internal stakeholders to support business growth.
• Handle customer enquiries and provide professional financing solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive financing, hire purchase, loan operations, credit assessment, underwriting, or consumer lending.
• Strong understanding of Singapore financial regulations and credit practices.
• Experience leading or supervising a team will be an advantage.
• Good analytical and decision-making skills with sound credit judgment.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and loan management systems.
