Job description
Role Summary:
The Budgeting and Controlling Specialist is responsible for providing support and assistance in developing, managing, and monitoring the financial budget, she/he collaborates with various departments and stakeholders to gather relevant data, analyse financial information, and assist in the preparation and monitoring budget.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1- Budget Preparation:
- Work closely with Lead Specialists, Budgeting & Controlling AMTPJ and subsidiaries, to understand their needs and help to translate them into budgetary requirements.
- Assist the Lead Specialists, Budgeting & Controlling in the development and preparation of the annual budget by gathering and organizing data from various sources.
2- Budget monitoring and Controlling:
- Assist Lead Specialists, Budgeting & Controlling in maintaining accurate and up-to-date budgeting using internal orders using SAP.
- Assist Lead Specialists, Budgeting & Controlling to ensure that expenses are within budgeted limits.
- Assist Lead Specialists, Budgeting & Controlling to ensure that the additional budget requests are approved as per the defined authority matrix.
3- Budget reporting :
- Assist Lead Specialists, Budgeting & Controlling to review AMTPJ actual Fixed cost against budget on a periodic basis and finalize.
4- Cost optimization:
- Assist Lead Specialist, Budgeting & Controlling in the identification of areas of cost inefficacies and recommend strategies to optimize expenditures while maintaining quality standards.
5- Process improvement:
Assist Lead Specialist, Budgeting & Controlling to continuously evaluate and improve budgeting process, tools, and systems.
Qualification and Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in Budgeting and controlling functions, preferably in manufacturing industry.
Skills:
- Solid understanding for accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong budgeting, Controlling and modelling skills.
- SAP knowledge (FI-CO-MM-SD) is essential.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in multicultural environments.
