Costing Specialist

Our client a major Oil& Gas company is looking to hire a Costing Specialist (Valves) to be based in their Manufacturing facility in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Requirements

• Provide costing during the quotation phase to meet expiry dates defined by customers
• Costing review in case the customer’ changes/modifications
• Updating and implementation of valves costs/prices lists used by the Sales Department/Tendering Team
• Estimates of budgetary/firm costs analysis
• Interface with Purchasing Department to evaluate materials price and external machining trend
• Constant interface with Application Engineers, Designers, Production, Procurement, Project Management and Tendering Teams
• Preparation of valve cost baseline in case of order receipt
• Use of CAD / Inventor (base knowledge)
• Analyse all cost components for valves, including raw materials, labour, overheads, and indirect costs.
• Develop accurate cost models and calculations for new and existing products
• Work closely with Finance, SC, Engineering, PMO and production teams to gather relevant cost data
• Prepare costing sheets and price breakdowns to support commercial bids and quotations of the Tendering Team
• Ensure all cost estimates comply with company policies, customer requirements, and relevant accounting standards
• Review and optimize costing methodologies to identify savings or efficiency improvements
• Provide cost recommendations and advice to management for pricing strategy and profitability analysis
• Participate in bid review meetings, defend costing assumptions, and respond to customer queries on cost structure
• Maintain up-to-date costing records and document all significant assumptions or changes

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with Valves costing in the Oil & Gas industry
• Bachelor's Degree
