Proposal Engineer

We're Hiring | Proposal Engineer – Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

We are a leading construction and contracting company based in Jeddah, and we are looking for a talented and driven Proposal Engineer to join our growing team.

📌 Role Overview

As a Proposal Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing competitive and technically sound proposals, tender submissions, and bid documents that support our business development efforts across infrastructure and construction projects.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and ITBs
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to develop accurate scope of work
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to compile proposal inputs
• Develop BOQs, cost estimates, and method statements
• Ensure timely submission of high-quality bids and proposals
• Maintain a database of pre-qualification documents, company profiles, and past project references
• Support business development activities and client presentations

✅ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• 3–6 years of experience in proposals, tendering, or estimation within the construction/contracting industry
• Strong understanding of project costing and contract terms
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); AutoCAD is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Based in or willing to relocate to Jeddah, KSA
