Here, you do more than maintain systems. You help build the future together. THE POSITION As a DevOps Engineer, you connect technology, business processes and continuous improvement. You develop, maintain and optimise business critical platforms and applications that support Van Oord's global operations. A key focus of your role is our IFS Cloud landscape and the integrations and services that surround it. Together with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Application Specialists and business stakeholders, you translate business needs into secure, reliable and scalable solutions. You work across the full lifecycle of development, from analysis and design to deployment, monitoring and support. By combining automation, platform engineering and a DevSecOps mindset, you help create technology that enables our business to perform at its best.

In this role, you make a visible contribution to Van Oord's digital transformation by:

• Developing, maintaining and optimising IFS Cloud and related business applications
• Building and managing Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation solutions
• Monitoring platform performance and proactively resolving issues before they impact operations
• Designing and supporting integrations, APIs and data flows across the application landscape
• Contributing to secure, scalable and future ready platform solutions aligned with enterprise standards

You will work with technologies such as Azure Cloud, automation tooling and modern DevOps practices while supporting one of the most important platforms within Van Oord.

YOUR WORKPLACE You will join the Information & Support Services team in Rotterdam. This is where we design, support and continuously improve the digital solutions that help Van Oord operate across the globe. You will work in a collaborative environment with Business Information Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Application Specialists and fellow DevOps Engineers.

ABOUT YOU You enjoy solving complex challenges and turning ideas into practical solutions. You combine analytical thinking with a proactive mindset and communicate effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders. You are eager to learn, continuously improve and work together to achieve shared goals. To be successful in this role, you bring:

• Experience in DevOps engineering, platform engineering or application development
• Experience with IFS Cloud, ERP platforms or similar enterprise applications
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud services and cloud native technologies
• Experience with deployment automation, test automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data platforms and secure software development practices
