Junior AI Software Engineer

Based in Abu Dhabi

Assists in developing and maintaining AI Products, supporting cross-functional teams

in delivering reliable and user-friendly experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing AI applications and APIs under senior engineer guidance, using modern

frameworks and backend services.

• Contribute to reusable components and libraries using modern frameworks.

• Support cloud-native application development leveraging Microsoft Azure or other major

cloud services.

• Help optimize application frontend and backend for usability, performance, scalability, and

security.

• Follow data protection measures, authentication protocols, and security best practices.

• Work alongside UI/UX designers, engineers, and product managers to implement and refine

features.

• Support data scientists and data engineers in improving data quality and insights.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality and reliability.

• Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications / Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in software development, with exposure to AI products preferred.

• Foundational knowledge of full-stack backend and/or frontend development.

• Familiarity with modern technologies such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, or

similar frameworks.

• Basic understanding of API design and integration patterns, with awareness of RESTful

services and authentication concepts.

• Exposure to containerization tools (Docker) and cloud platforms; Kubernetes experience a

plus.

• Interest in AI/ML technologies and agentic frameworks (LangGraph, Microsoft Agent

Framework, etc.), with willingness to grow in GenAI solutions.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

• Educational qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related

field required.
