The Role

You will play a key role in designing, deploying and maintaining Azure based data infrastructure.

• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support reliable deployments.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI and Python where appropriate.
• Support and optimise Azure services including compute, storage, networking and data platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and improve performance, security and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and other stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
• Document designs, standards and processes to support long term maintainability.

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Bicep and Terraform.
• Hands on experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI CD pipelines.
• Confident scripting skills with PowerShell and Azure CLI.
• Practical knowledge of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, Log Analytics and data services like Databricks or Data Factory.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and work independently within a team environment.
