Job description
Responsibilities
Child Development
Applies child development knowledge to promote and support the learning and holistic development of the infants and toddlers.
Learning Environments and Curriculum
Leads in planning and implementing a child – centered intentional programme based on a cyclical process of observation, documentation and evaluation to facilitate children’s learning needs and interest in accordance to Early Years Development Framework (EYDF)
Family Engagement
Establishes and ensures strong partnership with families by communicating and sharing information and knowledge in child development to facilitate the continuity of learning between centre and homes.
Regulations, policies & compliance matters
Complies with government regulations and quality assurance framework such as:
Child Care Act and Regulations
MOE SPARK etc.
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
Has Certificate in Infant and Toddler Care and Development (CIT)/ Higher Certificate in Infant Care ;
Has a valid first aid certificate recognised by ECDA; and
Has registered with ECDA and attained the EY1 certification

OPL has in place an experienced management committee comprising of the Board of Directors and the preschool management team who brings together a myriad of experience and expertise in the day-to-day running of the company and the curation of OPL early childhood strategies.
OPL also works closely with regulatory agencies such as ECDA and MSF to ensure compliance with legal and licensing regulations of its preschool centres.
