Job description

Front Office Employee - Responsibilities

Manage check-in and check-out procedures with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in billing and guest satisfaction - Perform general administrative tasks including data entry, correspondence, and record-keeping; utilise property management systems to process reservations and guest information accurately

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to meet guest needs promptly and professionally, whilst supporting the team during peak periods - Handle guest concerns and complaints with composure, working towards swift and satisfactory resolutions - Maintain a neat, organised front desk environment and ensure all documentation is filed appropriately

Required Skills and Experience:

• Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills – think of yourself as a wordsmith who can chat with anyone! • Some experience in a Front Office or guest-facing role within hospitality is a real bonus (we love seeing this on your CV!)

  • Comfortable navigating property management systems like Opera or Opera Cloud – don't worry, we'll get you up to speed! • Genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and making guests smile • A natural multitasker who thrives when juggling multiple priorities in a lively, fast-paced setting

  • Organised and detail-oriented – you're the person who actually enjoys keeping things neat and tidy • A true team player with excellent people skills and a collaborative spirit • A calm, level-headed problem-solver who keeps their cool under pressure • Happy to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends – variety keeps things interesting!

Desirable Qualifications:

• Bonus points if you speak Dutch, German, or French – extra languages are always a win! • Experience working in a luxury or upscale hotel environment • Familiarity with hospitality industry best practices and guest service standards • Any hospitality or customer service certification (if you've got one, we'd love to hear about it!) • Experience with revenue management or booking systems – a handy skill to have in your toolkit!

  • A starting salary of €2,711.54 gross per month for a full-time position (applicable from the age of 20).

  • 8% holiday allowance.

  • Travel expense reimbursement from 5 km onwards and free parking if you come by car.
