Job Summary

The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing plumbing systems in construction projects. The role requires following drawings, specifications, safety procedures, and project requirements to ensure quality and timely completion of plumbing works.

Key Responsibilities

• Install water supply, drainage, sewage, and sanitary piping systems.
• Read and understand plumbing drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Install pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, pumps, and sanitary equipment.
• Carry out pipe cutting, threading, joining, soldering, and fitting as required.
• Perform pressure testing, leakage checks, and system inspections.
• Install and connect toilets, wash basins, sinks, showers, water heaters, and other plumbing fixtures.
• Identify and repair leaks, blockages, and plumbing defects.
• Coordinate plumbing activities with other MEP and construction teams.
• Ensure work is completed according to approved drawings and project standards.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the work area.
• Follow company HSE policies and use required PPE.
• Report material requirements, site issues, and completed work to the supervisor.
• Perform other plumbing-related duties assigned by the supervisor or project management.

Requirements

• ITI / vocational qualification in Plumbing or equivalent is preferred.
• 2–5 years of relevant construction plumbing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing materials, tools, fittings, and installation methods.
• Ability to read basic plumbing drawings.
• Knowledge of construction-site safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites.
