Senior Salesforce Developer – Salesforce / OmniStudio

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract: 6 Months Initial – Long-Term Extension Highly Likely

Working Model: Onsite, Abu Dhabi

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a major enterprise transformation programme in Abu Dhabi. This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of long-term extension .

The successful candidate will be a hands-on Salesforce Developer with strong experience across Apex, Lightning Web Components and OmniStudio , ideally gained within large-scale enterprise environments. You will work closely with Product, Architecture and QA teams to design, build and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple Salesforce Clouds.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce Flows
• Build solutions using OmniScripts, Integration Procedures and Data Mappers
• Translate user stories, functional requirements and technical designs into robust, maintainable Salesforce solutions
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing appropriate workarounds while prioritising permanent fixes
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events and middleware
• Develop high-quality, well-documented code with strong unit-test coverage and adherence to Salesforce development best practices
• Ensure solutions comply with Salesforce governor limits, security standards and coding principles
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain development standards alongside the Solution Architect
• Configure and develop solutions across Revenue Cloud, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Support Energy & Utilities Cloud configurations and associated business processes
• Manage deployments using Change Sets and OmniStudio deployment capabilities
• Support the complete SDLC including estimation, development, testing, deployment and defect resolution
• Work closely with Product, QA, Architecture and other engineering teams within an Agile delivery environment
• Develop reusable Salesforce components and technical assets that can be leveraged across the wider programme

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience as a Salesforce Developer / Senior Salesforce Developer , ideally within large enterprise programmes
• Excellent hands-on development experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Strong knowledge of SOQL/SOSL and asynchronous Apex
• Strong hands-on OmniStudio experience is essential , including:
• OmniScripts
• Integration Procedures
• Data Mappers
• Strong understanding of Salesforce declarative development including Flows, validation rules and process automation
• Ability to determine when requirements should be delivered through configuration versus custom development
• Experience designing and developing REST/SOAP API integrations
• Experience with Platform Events and API-based data exchange
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, sharing model and governor limits
• Experience with Sales Cloud and ideally Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud
• Strong debugging, testing and production support capabilities
• Experience working within Agile and distributed delivery teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to take ownership of technical problems and see solutions through from design to production

Salesforce Certifications

Candidates should ideally hold:

• Salesforce Platform Developer I – Essential
• Salesforce Administrator – Advantageous
• Salesforce Platform App Builder – Advantageous
• Additional Salesforce Developer / OmniStudio certifications would be beneficial

Nice to Have

• Experience with Salesforce CLM
• Knowledge of building and configuring CLM templates and clauses
• Experience with Revenue Cloud
• Previous experience delivering Salesforce solutions within Energy & Utilities, Oil & Gas or other complex enterprise environments
• Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes in the Middle East
