About The Role
FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Data Quality Manager to work for our client within the intralogistics sector. This is initially a 18 months contract and will be a hybrid role that will be based in Frankfurt am Main.
Our client is seeking a Data Quality Manager to play a key role in enhancing the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of critical business data across the organisation. Working within a complex SAP-driven environment, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data owners, and technical teams to establish and maintain data quality standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure data is fit for business decision-making. This position offers the opportunity to combine data analysis, stakeholder management, and governance expertise while supporting strategic projects that enable operational excellence and business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Define and monitor data quality rules, standards, and KPIs.
- Identify, analyse, and coordinate resolution of data quality issues.
- Partner with business stakeholders, Data Owners, and technical teams to improve data quality processes.
- Support master data governance initiatives across key business domains.
- Perform data validation, analysis, and reporting activities.
- Contribute to data migration, transformation, and process optimisation projects.
- Drive continuous improvement of data quality frameworks, controls, and reporting. About You
- Experience in Data Quality Management, Data Governance, Master Data Management, or Business/Data Analysis.
- Understanding of data quality principles, governance frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
- Experience working with SAP master data and business processes.
- Ability to analyse and validate data using SQL.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working across business and technical teams.
- Familiarity with data quality reporting, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
- Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) is advantageous
- English skills (C1)
- valid work authorization for Germany
