FAMILY GROWTH LEAD
Lausanne · Full-time · Start as soon as mutually agreed
HELP BUILD THE COMMUNITY AROUND EMBREIER
Children do not all need the same thing from a room.
Some need more confidence to step forward, try, speak and move beyond what feels comfortable. Others need practice slowing down, settling their attention and staying with something.
At Embreier, eight children meet each week for 90 minutes and practise both . They take on movement challenges, pause and regulate, reflect on what they notice, make something individually or together, and learn to participate in a group.
A child who tends to hold back is repeatedly invited to take a little more space. A child who tends to rush is repeatedly asked to slow down, listen and stay with a task. The challenges change; the developmental capacities being practised remain consistent.
The sequence is structured, grounded in psychology and pedagogy, and led by trained educators.
The aim is simple: to turn capacities such as regulation, confidence, attention and social awareness from concepts into things children actually practise.
We are now looking for the person who will help more families discover that work and become part of the community around it.
THE ROLE
You own how families find Embreier, understand it, decide to join, and stay.
This means opening the right channels, earning introductions, developing partnerships, hosting conversations and Experience Days, following through, and carrying families from first contact into membership.
This is the first dedicated family-growth hire at Embreier.
You are not inheriting a mature acquisition function. You are joining to establish what works, prove it in Lausanne, and build the function from there.
HOW WE GROW
Embreier grows through trust.
Families come through recommendation, introduction, partnership and experiences they genuinely value.
A good enrolment is not simply a signed family. It is a family for whom Embreier is right, who understands the work, chooses it with confidence, and wants to remain part of it.
How you grow matters.
Judgement, warmth and credibility are part of the commercial standard.
WHAT YOU OWN
- Family acquisition from first introduction through paid enrolment
- The path to 50 active enrolments by 31 October
- The weekly progress required to reach it
- Relationships and channels that produce qualified families
- Partnerships with schools, clubs, introducers, relocation networks and relevant communities
- Experience Days and the conversations around them
- Consistent follow-through until a family reaches a clear decision
- Early retention and referral
- The data and operating discipline behind the growth function
- A repeatable model that can later travel from Lausanne to Geneva and beyond
You work closely with the founder, educators and operations team.
You own the family-growth outcome.
THE PERSON WHO WILL THRIVE HERE
You are commercially ambitious, but families would not describe you as a salesperson.
You like ownership. You like knowing what result you are responsible for. You notice opportunities and act on them rather than waiting for someone else to create momentum.
You also understand people.
You are warm, perceptive and discreet. You remember details. You follow through. You know how to make an introduction feel natural rather than transactional.
People trust you because your judgement is visible.
And you understand that a poor-fit enrolment is not a win.
WHAT MATTERS
We care less about years served than evidence.
You should be able to show some combination of:
- A network you can genuinely activate among families, schools, clubs, international communities, relocation networks or adjacent circles in Lausanne or Geneva
- Something you have personally grown, filled or sold
- Direct responsibility for converting relationships into customers, members or enrolments
- The ability to create new channels rather than only manage existing ones
- Strong face-to-face commercial judgement
- Excellent follow-through
- Comfort working against explicit weekly and monthly targets
- Strong taste and instinct for a premium consumer experience
- Fluent French and English, written and spoken, with native-level register in at least one
- The ability to build from first principles in an early-stage company
Relevant backgrounds may include consumer growth, membership, admissions and parent relations, premium hospitality, private clubs, relocation and family services, partnerships, business development and founder-led sales.
The title you have held matters less than what you have actually made happen.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
The immediate commercial objective is to grow Embreier to 50 active enrolments by 31 October .
But the work is larger than one number.
Success means that by then we also know which relationships convert, which partnerships compound, why families choose Embreier, why they stay, and how to reproduce that growth without compromising the experience.
COMPENSATION
CHF 65,000–80,000 gross annual base salary , depending on experience, relevant network and demonstrated growth capability.
Plus uncapped performance compensation tied to:
- new enrolment
- sustained membership
- key growth milestones
At strong performance, first-year total cash compensation is expected to reach CHF 90,000–100,000+ , with further upside as the programme grows.
The structure is deliberately performance-led. Growth and retention are rewarded together.
Full mechanics are shared transparently during the first conversation.
WHERE THIS CAN GO
The scope grows with the result.
01 · Prove Lausanne
Establish the channels and reach the first family-growth targets.
02 · Build the function
Turn what works into a repeatable system, deepen partnerships and begin building the team.
03 · Lead B2C growth
Take responsibility for family growth across Lausanne, Geneva and subsequent markets.
The pathway from this role is:
Growth Lead · Families → Head of Family Growth → B2C Growth Director
Progression is based on results and scope, not time served.
TO APPLY
Apply through
www.embreier.com/careers
with an up-to-date CV and short answers to two questions:
1. What is the strongest existing channel, community or network you could activate to introduce Embreier to families in Lausanne or Geneva?
2. Tell us about something you have personally grown, filled or sold. What part of the result was directly yours?
In conversation, we will also ask how you would approach your first four weeks and where you believe the next 25 enrolments could come from.
