Aarchitect Job Description Job Purpose

To develop, coordinate, and support architectural designs in accordance with project requirements, client expectations, applicable codes, and industry standards. The Architect will contribute to the preparation of architectural concepts, drawings, technical documentation, and design solutions while coordinating effectively with internal teams, consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and design solutions based on project requirements and client needs.
• Design Development: Prepare and develop architectural drawings, details, elevations, sections, and other design documentation.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare, review, and maintain architectural drawings, specifications, reports, and other project-related documentation.
• Client Coordination: Respond to architectural inquiries and provide professional advice and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders.
• Design Coordination: Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, engineering, fabrication, and other disciplines to ensure design compatibility and integration.
• Drawing Review: Review architectural drawings and technical documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with approved design requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Identify design issues and provide practical, technically sound, and cost-effective architectural solutions.
• Site Coordination: Conduct site visits when required to review project progress, verify site conditions, and resolve architectural issues.
• Design Changes: Review and incorporate client comments, consultant feedback, and approved design changes into project documentation.
• Software & BIM: Utilize AutoCAD, Revit , and other relevant architectural and BIM software to develop and modify drawings and models.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, designers, project managers, estimation, production, and other relevant departments.
• Compliance: Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, authority requirements, project specifications, and industry standards.
• HSE Compliance: Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized university.
• Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in architectural design and project coordination.
• Technical Experience: Practical experience in architectural drawings, design development, technical documentation, and construction detailing.
• Software: Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit . Knowledge of other architectural/BIM software is an advantage.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Other Qualifications: Knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority requirements, construction practices, and relevant industry standards is preferred.

• Design Skills: Ability to develop practical, functional, aesthetically appropriate, and technically feasible architectural solutions.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant architectural and BIM software.
• Coordination Skills: Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Communication: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Client Management: Ability to understand client requirements, manage expectations, and provide appropriate technical solutions.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines effectively.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to accuracy, quality, and consistency in architectural designs and documentation.

Working Conditions

• Office-based work with regular coordination with project, engineering, production, estimation, and other relevant departments.
• Site visits and project-related travel may be required depending on business and project requirements.
• The position may require working under project deadlines and supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
• May be required to work additional hours when necessary to meet critical project deadlines.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform site visits, inspections, and project-related activities as required.
• Ability to work in both office and construction/site environments.
• Ability to comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Salary Range: AED 5,000 – 7,000 per month
