Availability and Sharing Data Senior Specialist

Purpose of Job

Jobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision. They work within guidelines and procedures in order to prepare more complex, specialized or ad-hoc reports in their related field. They contribute to the completion of milestones or operational targets within the assigned functional area.

They undertake operational activities including conducting an assessment to identify needs and challenges, supporting the development of a plan to improve the availability and sharing of data for the Authority, the preparation of outreach programmes and the follow-up of the implementation of data availability and sharing initiatives.

Job Resposiblites

• Preparing and implementing the Open Data and Data Sharing Program.
• Prepare the roadmap for the implementation of these programs, including defining the requirements of the Authority.
• Design and implement plans, procedures, and controls for the definition and dissemination of open data.
• Controlling access and data access practices by defining its controls and procedures.
• Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science or equivalent is required

Experience A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
