Job description

Berlin International College is a private Studienkolleg. We prepare international students without a direct university entrance qualification (HZB) in language and subject-specific courses, enabling them to study at German universities. For our upcoming Bachelor Prep Program Technology (English), we are looking for teachers in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science.

Tasks

You will prepare students in your respective subject, including exercises and tests for the final examination at BIC, which you will also conduct together with other teachers.

Subjects:

• Mathematics (Elementary mathematics, curve sketching, integration, extreme value problems)

• Physics (Statics, kinematics and kinetics of rigid bodies, electromagnetic fields, DC circuits)

• Computer Science, incl. introduction to basic Python programming

  • Timeframe: 16.11.2026 - 18.06.2027 + 5 weeks exam period (28.06. – 30.07.2027)

• Hours: 6–30 teaching units (45 min each) per week

• Class times: All-day classes (~ 08:00-18:00)

• Mode of classes: On-site

• Language of instruction: English

Requirements

You are a good fit if you...

• Have good knowledge of the respective subject

• Have at least one year of experience teaching groups of at least 5 students

• Communicate fluently in English (speaking and writing), including relevant subject-specific terms

• Have intercultural experience (a plus)
