We are now looking for an Automotive Customer Project Manager to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will lead and coordinate projects for some of the world’s most iconic automotive brands. You’ll be the central link between SKF Automotive production sites, product development, purchasing, and our customers, ensuring collaboration and delivering effective solutions.

What you can expect in the role
- Overseeing and executing ETO (Engineering To Order) customer projects for all Automotive product lines and across multiple production sites.
- Management and coordination of the interdisciplinary and intercultural project team to meet quality, profitability, time, and delivery targets.
- Ensuring flawless launches and securing customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring internal and external communication with all Stakeholders, including formal escalation management.
- Documentation of experiences and best practices identified during projects to ensure continuous improvement.
- Structured risk analysis, including the definition of mitigation plans to minimize risks for effective project completion.
- Formalizing and sharing of lessons learnt and best practices identified through the execution.
You will enjoy working here if you have
- Experience of technical leadership in the context of projects and the ability to manage (customer-oriented) projects across different cultures and regions.
- Knowledge of the relevant project management techniques, such as risk analysis, time and resource planning, preferably in connection with the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) principles of the automotive industry.
- Familiarity with IT tools in the field of project management.
- Ability to build positive and long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicate promptly and effectively.
- Good command of the German language, with the ability to communicate with customers and coworkers.
- Good English language skills
- Relevant academic background in a technical field is a plus.

This role will be based at our Automotive site in Schweinfurt, Germany, and we offer a flexible hybrid setup (50/50), which allows you to work from home a few days per week while spending the remaining days at the office. Employment will be on a local contract, and therefore, you need to live in the region and be able to commute to our Schwienfurt site several times per week.
You will report to Luca Donetti, Manager of Automotive EMEA PMO, located in Airasca, Italy.
