About the role:
The Technical Specialist – TASKI provides pre-sales technical expertise to sales teams and customers, supporting bids, proposals, and projects. The role installs and demonstrates products at customer sites, collaborates with Sales to recommend tailored solutions, identifies additional sales opportunities, and maintains strong knowledge of TASKI and competitor products.
You will be responsible for:
Perform preventive, corrective maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on floor care machines (FCM).
Diagnose machine issues and provide effective technical solutions.
Respond to customer enquiries on service agreements and equipment performance.
Maintain accurate service records and monitor equipment reliability.
Identify opportunities to sell spare parts, consumables, and service contracts.
Deliver an excellent customer experience before, during, and after each service visit.
Plan and schedule customer visits accurately and efficiently, with weekly activity reporting.
Train customers on the features, operation, and proper use of purchased products.
Requirements
Mechanical and electrical skills, with experience troubleshooting increasingly electronic machinery.
Relevant industry experience with the ability to provide technical advice and support to customers.
Minimum O-Level/Secondary School, Nitec, or Diploma, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
2–3 years of relevant experience in a similar technical/service role is preferred.
Basic computer skills for service reporting and system updates.
Valid Class 3 driving licence.
Good basic spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
