As a Qualified Person – Supervision (Structural/Civil), you will play a critical role in ensuring construction works are delivered in accordance with approved structural plans, statutory requirements, and industry best practices. You will provide professional supervision of structural, geotechnical, and architectural works, safeguarding design intent while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Working closely with Qualified Persons, contractors, authorities, and project stakeholders, you will help deliver safe, resilient, and technically robust infrastructure and building projects across Singapore.

The Opportunity

  • Carry out Qualified Person (Supervision) duties in accordance with BCA guidelines, overseeing structural, geotechnical, and architectural works throughout construction.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, regulatory requirements, and project quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor construction progress, workmanship, and contractor performance, identifying and escalating non-conformances, technical issues, and project risks as required.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed site records, supervision logs, compliance documentation, photographic evidence, and weekly supervision reports.
  • Coordinate with contractors, authorities, consultants, and internal project teams to resolve site, design, and compliance matters while supporting project delivery objectives.

Is this role right for you?

  • A degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore, with registration with BCA and JAC (IES and ACES).
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience performing duties in accordance with BCA Guidelines for the role of Qualified Person (Supervision), including supervision of structural, geotechnical, and architectural works.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Civil & Structural engineering regulations, codes, standards, and construction supervision requirements.
  • Proven ability to resolve site and technical issues, prepare comprehensive progress reports, and maintain accurate project documentation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work effectively across both technical and non-technical environments.
