Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Integrate industrial robots into manufacturing and production-line automation systems.
  • Support robot programming, configuration, testing and commissioning.
  • Integrate robots with PLCs, HMI, sensors, actuators, drives and other automation equipment .
  • Perform installation and commissioning of robotic cells at customer sites.
  • Conduct system integration, debugging, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Support applications such as robotic palletizing, material handling, machine tending, pick-and-place, assembly and packaging automation .
  • Participate in FAT and SAT and resolve issues identified during testing.
  • Interpret electrical/control drawings, layouts and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, controls, project and customer teams during system integration.
  • Troubleshoot robot, PLC, communication and interface-related issues.
  • Ensure robotic cells meet operational and industrial safety requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation and commissioning reports.

These responsibilities are consistent with industrial robot-integration roles, where the emphasis is on integrating robots with automation systems and commissioning them within production environments.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation or Automation Engineering .
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience for junior/mid-level hiring.
  • Hands-on experience with industrial robots and system integration is mandatory .
  • Exposure to one or more robot brands such as ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Kawasaki or Universal Robots .
  • Knowledge of PLC/HMI/SCADA and industrial control systems preferred.
  • Experience in installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT and troubleshooting .
  • Experience with a robotics system integrator, industrial automation company, SPM/machine builder or manufacturing automation company preferred
