Your Key Responsibilities

  • Setup and coordination of a global technical regulatory affairs network across all regions, sectors, and technical risk areas, ensuring continuous and effective alignment and information flow
  • Identification of regulatory white spots within global technical regulatory affairs network and driving decision making on position coverage
  • Global alignment of active participation and contribution to strategically relevant external expert groups / task forces
  • Active participation in selected associations and being contact expert for the Schaeffler organization for selected topics, including the identification of technical regulatory requirements and the possible influence on Schaeffler products

Your Qualifications

  • Successfully completed university degree in engineering, economics, political science or a comparable field

  • Many years of professional experience with associations in technical disciplines, especially in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering

  • In-depth knowledge of the processes for creating and influencing technical regulations worldwide (EU, USA, China, UNECE)

  • Strong technical background, preferably with good knowledge of political processes

  • Several years of experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams and solid experience working with top management, preferably within matrix organizations

Fluent in English and German; French language skills are advantageous and willingness to travel (

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coordination skills with intercultural competence
