  • Direct responsibility for developing, managing and reporting project plans and schedules across every project stage, from design through commissioning and start-up
  • A visible position at the centre of the project organisation: your schedule analysis directly informs the decisions of project teams and stakeholders
  • Long-term assignment on a structured, high-capacity biopharmaceutical site operating under GMP
  • Full autonomy on site, with direct integration into the client's project teams

  • Location: canton of Valais, Switzerland — 100% on site
  • Contract: long-term consulting assignment
  • Start: as soon as possible — assignment running until end of July 2027
  • Seniority: 5 to 8 years of relevant planning experience
  • Language: excellent command of English (knockout)

Scope

  • Develop, monitor and update integrated project plans and schedules to enable efficient project execution
  • Prepare baseline schedules and schedule-basis documents for approval by project teams
  • Assess impacts on the critical path and near-critical activities, and report findings to the project team
  • Monitor schedule deviations and variances, and support the development of alternative corrective-action methods
  • Prepare and issue schedule progress reports, trend charts and periodic schedule analysis
  • Maintain records of scope changes, trends and variances affecting schedule performance
  • Ensure the credibility and reliability of all information contained in the schedule
  • Review schedules regularly with project team members and facilitate scheduling meetings and interactive planning sessions
  • Support resource loading across the project portfolio

Profile — Required criteria (knockout)

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 — absolute priority criterion for this mandate
  • 5 to 8 years of experience planning large capital projects (> CHF 20 million), from design through commissioning and start-up
  • Experience gained within an EPCM company
  • Excellent command of English, written and spoken
  • Availability to work 100% on site in the canton of Valais
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse complex and large data sets, draw conclusions and support decision-making

Strong assets — Differentiators

  • Experience on large-scale projects above CHF 300 million
  • Client-side planning experience, in addition to EPCM
  • Background in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology GMP environment
  • German
  • Degree in Engineering, Science or Business Management
