About the team

The Product Strategy and Operations team shapes the long-term direction of the Tommy Hilfiger global product organization, connecting consumer insights, business performance and strategic ambition. The team partners closely with Global Product Leadership, Regional Commercial teams and Direct-to-Consumer teams to translate strategic priorities into actionable product direction, operating models and cross-functional initiatives that drive sustainable growth.

About the job

The Senior Analyst, Product Strategy plays a key role in shaping and executing the long-term strategy of the global product organization. The role independently leads complex analyses and defined strategic workstreams, translating consumer, market and business insights into actionable recommendations that influence product priorities, seasonal direction and strategic decision-making.

Working across functions and leadership teams, the role helps define strategic choices, aligns stakeholders around priorities and supports the successful translation of strategy into executable initiatives. The role combines analytical rigor, structured problem solving and strong communication to bring clarity to complex business challenges and enable informed decision-making.

Reporting to the Director, Product Strategy, the Senior Analyst partners closely with Product Leadership, Merchandising, Planning, Regional Commercial teams and Direct-to-Consumer teams, operating across evolving priorities while balancing strategic thinking with disciplined execution.

Key responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

  • Partner with Global Product Leadership to develop the long-term product strategy by identifying strategic opportunities, evaluating business performance and defining priorities that support sustainable growth.
  • Develop structured analyses and evidence-based recommendations using consumer, market, competitive and internal business insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Translate strategic direction into clear product priorities, seasonal strategic frameworks and cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Product, Planning and Commercial teams.
  • Support senior leadership in evaluating strategic choices by developing scenarios, assessing trade-offs and recommending clear paths forward.
  • Independently lead defined strategic projects and workstreams from problem definition through recommendation and implementation planning, ensuring alignment on scope, deliverables, milestones and success measures.
  • Break down complex business challenges into structured analyses, evaluate strategic options and develop practical, actionable recommendations supported by data and business judgment.
  • Bring clarity to ambiguous situations by synthesizing qualitative and quantitative information into concise, decision-ready insights.
  • Analyze product, commercial and financial performance alongside consumer, market and competitive insights to identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends.
  • Develop compelling executive-ready presentations, business cases and strategic narratives that clearly communicate insights, recommendations and business implications.
  • Translate data into meaningful stories that enable informed decision-making across Product Leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Drive key elements of the annual and seasonal strategic planning process, ensuring priorities, initiatives and dependencies remain aligned across functions.
  • Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives, proactively identifying risks, dependencies and opportunities, while recommending mitigation plans where appropriate.
  • Support the successful implementation of strategic initiatives by coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring alignment on key deliverables.
  • Facilitate workshops and cross-functional working sessions that build alignment, encourage constructive discussion and enable informed decisions.

The ideal candidate

  • Typically brings 4–7 years of relevant experience in product strategy, business strategy, strategic planning, consulting, business analysis, program or project management, or a related field. Previous experience in a top-tier strategy or management consulting environment is considered a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated track record of independently leading complex analyses, strategic initiatives or project portfolios involving multiple stakeholders and delivering measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with the ability to connect consumer, product and financial performance into actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complex business challenges, synthesize diverse information and communicate compelling, data-driven stories.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem solving, challenging assumptions and bringing fresh perspectives to strategic discussions.
  • Experience supporting strategic transformations, operating model improvements or cross-functional change initiatives, with the ability to help teams successfully adopt new ways of working.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders, facilitating workshops and building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Proven stakeholder management capabilities, building trusted relationships across functions, regions and external partners while effectively navigating competing priorities and perspectives.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, rapidly learning new business contexts and balancing strategic thinking with pragmatic execution in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to work and reside in the Netherlands without employer sponsorship.
