For ING, we are looking for a MiFIR Transaction Reporting Professional who can play a key role in regulatory change initiatives and the implementation of financial markets products.

In this role, you will act as the Regulatory Transaction Reporting Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for change initiatives. You will represent Regulatory Transaction Reporting throughout the complete delivery lifecycle, ensuring that reporting requirements are understood, translated into effective solutions, thoroughly tested and successfully implemented.

You will work closely with Front Office, Product Management, Operations, Technology, Compliance, Legal and Change teams, ensuring that regulatory reporting obligations are embedded into business and technology solutions from inception through to production deployment.

What will you do?

As a Regulatory Transaction Reporting specialist at ING, you will:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for MiFIR and EMIR reporting obligations.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and assess their impact on new products, business initiatives and technology changes.
  • Represent Regulatory Transaction Reporting in projects and new product implementations.
  • Own the RTR workstream throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform impact assessments and data lineage analysis and define reporting requirements.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into clear business and functional requirements.
  • Review solution designs and ensure reporting considerations are embedded early in the change process.
  • Work closely with Technology teams to support solution design and implementation.
  • Define testing strategies and reporting validation requirements.
  • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and sign-off activities from an RTR perspective.
  • Support production releases and post-implementation reviews.
  • Drive the resolution of reporting-related risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Identify regulatory risks and control gaps.
  • Support internal audits, regulatory reviews and control assessments. Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and controls.

Requirements

What do you bring?

For this specialist position at ING, we are looking for someone with:

  • Extensive experience in MiFIR and EMIR Transaction Reporting within a banking or financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated recent and relevant expertise and experience during 2024–2025.
  • A strong understanding of trade lifecycle events and reporting obligations.
  • Experience assessing reporting impacts for new products and business initiatives.
  • Proven experience in the implementation of financial markets products.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting end-to-end implementation of new products, system changes or regulatory initiatives.
  • Experience owning requirements, design reviews, testing and implementation activities.
  • Proven experience working within project environments.
  • The ability to operate effectively in both Agile and traditional delivery environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and governance forums.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to explain complex regulatory topics to both technical and non-technical audiences. A demonstrated ability to build consensus and move initiatives forward in complex organisational environments.

Benefits

What do we offer?

  • A one-year contract, with the possibility of extension.
  • 36-hour working week.
  • Pivotal role in a large-scale cloud migration project.
  • Salary range of €6,500.60–€7,584.96 gross per month, based on 36 hours per week and depending on experience.
  • Additional benefits, including holiday allowance, a 13th-month payment and pension contribution.

If you combine in-depth MiFIR and EMIR expertise with the ability to turn regulatory requirements into successfully implemented solutions, we would like to hear from you and discuss this opportunity at ING.
