THE ROLE AND YOUR IMPACT AT DOTT

Freelance / contractor and hybrid working model (Tuesday–Thursday in the office).

Dott handles millions of rider payments a month across Europe. Fraud operations keeps that flow clean: stopping abuse, keeping the experience smooth for genuine riders, and answering the cases our Customer Operations teams raise every week. This is a hands-on operational role. You will own the fraud queue day to day, inside the Payments & Onboarding team and next to the engineers.

• Own our recurring fraud checks and the reviews that come with them
• Investigate flagged accounts and decide case by case
• Handle fraud escalations from Customer and City Operations. This is the biggest and least predictable part of the week
• Help us improve our decision rules with what you see in the queue, together with the engineers who own them

YOU’LL FIT GREAT WITH THESE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years in fraud operations at a high volume consumer platform: mobility, marketplace, fintech, e-commerce or gaming
• Comfortable working with an in-house decision engine, not only vendor platforms. We run our own rules alongside an ML trust score
• SQL you can read, run and adapt. You will query our warehouse daily
• Consistent judgement on incomplete information, account by account
• Fast and clear with Customer Operations. No case left hanging
• Available in our Amsterdam office Tuesday to Thursday

Bonus Experience:

• Micromobility, ride-hailing or marketplace background
• Promo abuse, account sharing or card testing
• BigQuery, n8n or similar tools
