Job description
.JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Manage and lead the Group's finance and accounting function, overseeing and managing the full set of accounts, intercompany transactions, billing, and monthly group consolidation across all entities.
2. Partner closely with the CFO in driving the Group's financial strategy, corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance.
3. Ensure the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and consolidated financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
4. Analyze financial performance, identify key variances, business trends, and risks, and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.
5. Prepare comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and business analysis to support management decision-making and executive review.
6. Lead the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with the Group's strategic objectives.
7. Review, enhance, and streamline finance processes, internal controls, accounting’s policies, to improve governance and operational efficiency.
8. Oversee and manage all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, treasury, and cash flow management across the Group.
9. Manage intercompany reconciliations, cost allocations, and all financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.
10. Ensure the timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to the senior management.
11. Manage and oversee all corporate and employee taxation matters, including Corporate Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), IR8A, IR21, withholding tax, transfer pricing (where applicable), and other statutory tax filings, including XBRL Filing, and while liaising with IRAS, tax agents, and external consultants to ensure full compliance.
12. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, CPF contributions, statutory submissions, and salary disbursements in compliance with company policies and Singapore employment legislation.
13. Ensure full compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), statutory regulations, corporate governance requirements, and internal financial policies.
14. Lead the coordination of external audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory reviews, ensuring timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of recommendations.
15. Build strong relationships with auditors, bankers, government agencies, tax authorities, insurers, and other external stakeholders.
16. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team by establishing performance standards, strengthening technical competencies, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
17. Manage corporate secretarial matters, including statutory filings, annual returns, board resolutions, and maintenance of statutory records.
18. Perform any other duties or strategic projects assigned by the CFO or Senior Management.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.
2. Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA Singapore, or an equivalent certification is preferred.
3. Minimum 3 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role. Experience in group finance and regional operations will be an added advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of full set of accounts, group consolidation, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, and cash flow management.
5. Sound understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST, Corporate Income Tax, IR8A, IR21, CPF, and other statutory and regulatory requirements.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with strong commercial acumen.
7. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
8. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior management, auditors, tax agents, bankers, government authorities, and other external stakeholders.
9. Highly organised, meticulous, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
10. Experience in XBRL Filing & Corporate Secretarial Matters.
11. High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
Pay: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
