Field Service Technician - Medium Voltage

WTS Energy is looking for Field Service Technicians – Medium Voltage to support projects across smart grids, energy storage, and EV charging infrastructure.

Scope of the Role

The role covers the inspection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and high-voltage electrical installations at customer sites.

Responsibilities:

• Working across various customer locations.
• Carrying out technical activities independently and efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with electrical standards, safety procedures, and regulations.
• Supporting the safe and reliable operation of electrical installations.
• Coordinating activities with customers, grid operators, and other technicians.
• Taking responsibility for the quality, safety, and timely completion of assigned work.

Requirements:

• MBO Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in field service, maintenance, or electrical engineering.
• STIPEL IV/WV certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Calm, precise, and solution-oriented approach, particularly when dealing with faults.
• Category B driving license and VCA VOL certification.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Able to communicate professionally in both Dutch and English.
