Maintenance Engineer

Location: Bavaria (Remote / Site work)

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for designing and improving maintenance programmes across a fleet of renewable energy assets. Working closely with global and regional stakeholders, you will develop maintenance concepts, cost models, spare parts strategies, and service processes that support operational and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise maintenance strategies and routines for energy storage and renewable energy assets.
• Apply Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM) methodologies to improve asset reliability and availability.
• Create maintenance schedules, service concepts, and spare parts strategies.
• Support the development of maintenance cost and pricing models.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through KPI analysis and performance data.
• Maintain and improve asset master data and equipment hierarchies within CMMS platforms.
• Develop and manage spare parts planning and inventory strategies.
• Support lifecycle activities including repowering, augmentation, and decommissioning projects.
• Develop service scopes and support subcontracted maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
• Support the implementation of technical updates and operational best practices across the fleet.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience within renewable energy, power generation, energy storage, or a similar industrial environment.
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and maintenance planning methodologies.
• Strong understanding of reliability and maintenance engineering principles.
• German language skills (written and spoken).
