About the Role

As a Transport Planner at Lauta Solutions, you are the essential link between carriers, shippers

and receivers. You will be responsible for daily transport organization and execution, ensuring goods arrive safely, on time, and via the most optimal route.

In this role, you will manage the costs, negotiate freight rates using market intelligence, and continually search for new logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Transport Operations: Create, manage, and monitor daily transport schedules while swiftly resolving day-to-day operational issues, disruptions, and customer queries.
• Price Negotiation & Cost Management: Calculate and negotiate competitive transport rates with carriers, backed by sound, well-reasoned, and up-to-date market arguments.
• Market Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze key drivers and cost variables shaping the road transport market; anticipate shifts in market conditions to adjust strategies proactively.
• Agile Decision-Making: React quickly to changing market factors, price fluctuations, emergency orders, and last-minute schedule changes.
• Customer Service Excellence: Provide fast, proactive, and top-tier support to clients, ensuring continuous communication and excellent customer satisfaction.
• Logistics Projects: Engage in individual tasks and group initiatives focused on optimizing supply chain performance and developing custom logistics solutions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience & Education: MBO+ working/thinking level with proven experience in road transport planning or freight forwarding.
• Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the road transport market, price-shaping variables, and freight cost drivers.
• Commercial & Negotiation Skills: Strong commercial drive with proven negotiation skills based on data analysis and accurate market reasoning.
• Technical Skills: Fluency in TMS (Transport Management Systems) and Microsoft Office suite.
• Problem-Solving & Agility: Stress tolerance, quick decision-making ability, and a proactive attitude in a dynamic environment.
• Personal Traits: High sense of responsibility, assertiveness, accuracy, and strong analytical capabilities.
• Language Skills:
• Polish: Fluent / Native level (Required)
• English: Very good written and spoken command (Required)
• Dutch: Good written and spoken command

Location: 3833 AG Leusden (on-site position in the office; we do not offer permanent remote work)

Hours: 32 - 40 hours per week (4 - 5 days per week)
