Senior Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise installation of wooden doors, frames, architraves, and related joinery works at project sites.
• Coordinate daily activities between the factory, site teams, subcontractors, and project management.
• Review shop drawings, approved samples, material specifications, and installation details.
• Ensure doors are manufactured and installed according to approved drawings and project requirements.
• Inspect door dimensions, alignment, levels, finishes, hardware, and overall workmanship.
• Monitor site progress and ensure installation targets are achieved according to the project schedule.
• Allocate manpower and coordinate carpenters, installers, and helpers.
• Identify site issues, measurement discrepancies, and installation problems and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, interior designers, and other trades when required.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and report delays, material requirements, and site issues to management.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, protection, and transportation of finished wooden doors.
• Coordinate door hardware installation, including hinges, locks, closers, handles, and other accessories.
• Conduct snagging inspections and ensure all defects are rectified before handover.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, quality, and workmanship at the site.
• Train and guide junior supervisors and installation teams.
• Verify site measurements and coordinate with the factory before production.
• Ensure materials delivered to site match approved specifications and quantities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Wood Technology, Construction, or a related field.
• 5–10+ years of experience in wooden door, joinery, carpentry, interior fit-out, or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of wooden door manufacturing and installation processes.
• Experience reading shop drawings and architectural drawings.
• Good knowledge of door hardware, finishing, and installation methods.
• Ability to manage site manpower and subcontractors.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under project deadlines and manage multiple site activities.
• Knowledge of HSE and quality-control requirements.
• UAE/GCC project experience is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
