Job description
We are looking for a
Software Engineer (Checkout Payment Methods) (m/f/d)
(unlimited, full-time) to join our team located in Tallinn, Berlin.
You will be a strong fit if you have:
-
2 - 4 years of hands-on development using C# and .NET
-
Ability to develop and maintain backend services
-
Good understanding of RESTful APIs
-
Working knowledge of data access patterns and ORMs (Entity Framework preferred)
-
Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
-
Familiarity with distributed application architectures, including service-to-service communication and asynchronous messaging
-
Exposure to working with cloud-hosted and containerized applications (Azure and Docker preferred). Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
-
Experience troubleshooting application issues using logs and monitoring tools
-
Ability to work effectively across established systems and newly developed services.
-
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
-
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code practices is a plus
-
FinTech or banking domain knowledge is a plus
You will join one of our product teams and daily you will:
-
Design, develop, test, and ship robust, maintainable, and readable software, applications, APIs, and other workflows

Initiate, participate in, and communicate technical architecture designs
-
Attend regular scrum ceremonies as a member of an agile cross-functional team
-
Analyze, discuss, and implement business requirements while maintaining good documentation of the systems and components you create

Bring in industry standards and best practices to continually improve our codebase and architecture
-
Make a positive impact on our engineering culture by adopting, implementing, and providing feedback on both organizational and industry standards and practices
