Job description
Get to Know the Team
You will join Grab’s Sales Operations team, which partners with Commercial, Product and People teams to improve sales effectiveness across Southeast Asia.
We build scalable commercial infrastructure by combining process design, data insights and sales tools. Our work helps sales teams execute effectively, improves revenue predictability and supports sustainable growth across Grab’s markets.
Get to Know the Role
You will own the end-to-end design and implementation of Sales Incentive Plans for Grab’s sales teams across Southeast Asia.
You will translate business priorities into effective compensation structures that drive the right sales behaviours and outcomes. This includes evaluating plan performance, testing and refining incentive mechanics, and balancing regional consistency with local market needs, regulations and practices.
You will partner closely with People Rewards, Regional and Country Sales Leadership, Data Analytics, and Country Sales Operations teams.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations and is fully onsite at Grab’s One-North office in Singapore.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will:
-
Own the end-to-end design of sales compensation plans, including plan structures, measures, weightings, payout curves, simulations, policies and governance.
-
Translate commercial objectives into incentive mechanics that drive desired sales behaviours and outcomes, such as sales performance, forecast accuracy, revenue quality and employee retention.
-
Use performance and market data to assess plan effectiveness, identify unintended outcomes and continuously improve compensation models.
-
Develop business cases and scenario simulations to evaluate the financial and behavioural impact of proposed plan changes.
-
Lead the implementation of new or revised plans, including stakeholder alignment, training, communications, participant support, attainment calculations and payout management.
-
Establish scalable regional frameworks while adapting plans to local business conditions, employment requirements and reward practices across Southeast Asia.
-
Align target-setting, quotas and performance measures with incentive plan policies in partnership with Commercial and Sales Operations leaders.
-
Strengthen operational workflows, governance and controls to improve accuracy, transparency and the participant experience.
-
Provide clear recommendations and regular program updates to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
-
5+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Compensation, Commercial Finance, Rewards or a related function.
-
Demonstrated experience owning the design and implementation of sales compensation plans, rather than only administering established plans.
-
Strong understanding of how compensation structures influence sales behaviour and business outcomes, supported by examples of plans you have evaluated or improved.
-
Experience designing and managing sales incentive initiatives, such as commission plans, short-term incentives, SPIFFs or gamification programs.
-
Strong analytical and modelling capabilities, including the ability to simulate compensation scenarios, investigate performance data and translate findings into recommendations.
-
Experience leading compensation-plan rollouts or major process changes, including gaining buy-in from senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
-
Experience working across multiple Southeast Asian markets, with the judgement to standardise regional processes while adapting to local commercial, cultural and regulatory requirements.
-
Strong project-management skills, with experience managing multiple workstreams and timelines simultaneously.
-
Clear communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to explain complex compensation concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Good to Have:
-
Proficiency in SQL, Tableau or similar data and visualisation tools.
-
Experience working with compensation-management or sales-performance-management platforms.
-
Familiarity with regional employment, incentive-pay or rewards practices.
-
Experience partnering with People Rewards, Finance, Legal or Compliance teams.
