In order to support our Central Programme Organization for the Widebody Fleet, Airbus Commercial is looking for a

Working Student (d/f/m) Widebody Programme Cabin & System Installation Integration 

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join the transnational WB programme Cabin & ESI/MSI integration team to support the lead for the Cabin & ESI/MSI perimeter cross functional activities & projects with internal stakeholders (Programmes, Engineering, VSMs, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement) and suppliers.

Location: Hamburg - Finkenwerder

Start: as soon as possible

Duration:  min. months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

 

Your location - Finkenwerder

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

Involvement across a number projects, including project interdependencies through the full lifecycle of a Programme/Product.

Supporting the lead / leading strategic, de-risking, competitive and continuous improvement initiatives and projects in line with the programme objectives

Creating / Drumbeating / Delivering Project management milestone documents according to applied project management methodology

Driving Risk & opportunities in Cabin / ESI / MSI perimeter

Managing crisis by exception, including arbitration between programmes, line fit and in-service 

Supporting dedicated WB Programme governance and set up of new ways of working within the team

Desired skills and qualifications

Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within Aerospace engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering or a similar field of studies

You are an open-minded and self-motivated team-player.

You have a high level of autonomy

You have the ability to provide creative solutions to pain points and E2E process issues in a “Can do” attitude

Able to speak fluent english and german (french will be advantage)
